Tom Stampiglia

President and Chief Executive Officer

Tom Stampiglia leads Surgical Information Systems as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Stampiglia has over 30 years of healthcare technology experience. Previously, Mr. Stampiglia served as CEO at Origin Healthcare Solutions, a revenue cycle management and analytics solutions provider. He also served as CEO at Medical Present Value and President and Chief Operating Officer of WebMD’s Practice Services Division, where he was responsible for the company’s physician practice management, electronic health records and electronic claims solutions. Earlier in his career, he served as President of the Software Division at Checkfree Corporation and held various management positions at Lanier Worldwide, Inc., including General Manager of Lanier Healthcare. Mr. Stampiglia has a B.A. from Georgetown University.

John Spiller

Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

John Spiller leads Surgical Information Systems’ finance team as Chief Financial & Administrative Officer. Mr. Spiller brings over 25 years of finance and business management experience to his role. Previously, Mr. Spiller has held financial leadership roles with Origin Healthcare Solutions, SunGard Data Systems, Allscripts, Accenture and Lante Corporation. John is a Certified Public Accounting and holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Douglas Rempfer

Chief Operations Officer

Doug Rempfer leads Surgical Information Systems’ Operations in providing solution delivery, client relationship management, client support and training, quality assurance, product management and development. He also serves in this role for Surgical Information Systems. Doug has over 23 years of professional experience in healthcare including the management of large professional service organizations, management of complex information technology projects, revenue cycle optimization, and clinical care. Previously he held executive leadership roles at Cerner Corporation and McKesson Provider Technologies, where he was responsible for leading services and support across multiple solutions, including EHRs, nursing, clinical decision support, and analytics.

Emmy Weber

Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer, Emmy Weber leads Surgical Information Systems (SIS)’ corporate marketing strategies designed to effectively position and promote SIS solutions in the healthcare market. With over 19 years of experience in marketing and product management, Ms. Weber effectively works with clients and the market to understand the unique needs of perioperative IT. Prior to SIS, Ms. Weber was the Vice President of Product Management at MedQuist, now MModal, and served in several roles with Lanier Worldwide. She has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Todd Logan

SVP, ASC Sales

With over 16 years of experience in healthcare, Todd Logan leads the Surgical Information Systems sales team in delivering comprehensive information technologies to ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and surgical hospitals, helping them achieve their goal of delivering safer care while maximizing productivity and profitability. Over his career, Mr. Logan has held numerous roles in healthcare IT, including implementations, product development, ASC administration, and sales leadership. Mr. Logan served as Vice President of Business Development for Partners Medical Consulting while also holding an administrative position with a multi-specialty ASC. Previously, he held the position of Regional Vice President of Sales for Source Medical. Mr. Logan holds an undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State University and a MBA with a Healthcare Management emphasis from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC).

John Walker

SVP Hospital Sales & Operations

John Walker oversees the day-to-day operations of SIS client management and services teams in their delivery of exceptional client experiences.  Over his eighteen year career, Mr. Walker has proven to be a dedicated and passionate Client Relationship Manager; building strong relationships with clients, understanding their strategic goals, and developing and executing strategies for them to succeed. John has extensive experience in client relationship management, managing major healthcare organizations such as Merck & Co., AARP, and Tenet Healthcare before joining SIS in 2012. John earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
